Ansel Adams – One of the greatest of the 20th century. Landscapes in black and white.

Steve McCurry – Famous for his portrait ‘The Afghan Girl’, but also his onther portraits and landscapes are top notch. Take a look at his work published on his website and buy one of his books if you like it. He is a  source of inspiration to me.

James Nachtwey – Multi award winning war photographer. Based in New York City, United States, but can be found everywhere on our planet.

Jimmy Nelson – Amsterdam based photographer famous for his serie ‘Before they pass away’. Beautiful portraits of traditional tribes from all over the world.

Anton Corbijn – Dutch portrait photographer who worked with almost all major artist of his time. He is famous for his black and white non-glamour style.

Annie Leibovitz – One of the best portrait photographers at this moment. Watch the documentary ‘The life through a lens’ and you know why.

Raffaella Schlegel – An amazing underwater photographer specialized in sharks, whales and crocodiles. I was lucky to meet her in South-Africa, now she is based in Cancun, Mexico.



Tony Northrup – Photography tips, tips for postprocessing and reviews of camera gear. He and his wife Chelsea have a good YouTube-channel for beginning and enthusiastic photographers.

Julieanne Kost – Lightroom en Photoshop tutorials. Perfect if you are new with this Adobe software.

Phlearn – Aaron Nace shows you how to use Photoshop in a easy, clear and practical way.
